Art Hour @ Webb Elementary II: Apple Stamp Pumpin Patches

Today was my second art hour with the life skills classes at Webb Elementary.  Halloween is next Saturday and to get us in the spooky spirit, we made pumpkin patches.

First we used half an apple and orange paint to stamp our pumpkins.  Then we used a quarter apple and white paint to make our full moons.  Next, we cut shapes out of yellow construction paper to make our glowing Jack o’ lantern faces.  The last finishing touch was the green stems on top.  This one got a little messy!  But I loved how creative the students were with their Jack o’ Lantern faces. Hooray for messy Halloween art! 🙂

Until next time,

Peace, Love, and Art
